The People's Princess

Princess Di wanted to ban Landmines.
Princess Di was seeing an Arab.
Princess Di's body gaurd put his SEATBELT on when he knew the bodygaurd was under mind control, before he struck PILLAR 13.

...These fresh accounts include the astonishing claim that the Queen’s
most senior and trusted courtier was seen in Paris, at the British
Embassy, half an hour before the crash.

Furthermore, they include a baffling allegation that the RAF crew
which flew Tony Blair from his Sedgefield constituency to London to
greet the Princess’s repatriated body had been on continual standby
to make the flight from two days earlier — when Diana was still alive.

During this investigation, the Mail has also received confirmation
that two diplomats working for the secret intelligence service MI6
were operating at the British Embassy in Paris during the weeks
before Diana’s death. ...

WHAT'S A FOOD POLICY COUNCIL? (this meeting is in Oakland, Ca., USA, tonight Tues. and other mtgs too)

"...to create a healthy (healthful) and sustainable food system. "

Want to Improve Oakland's Food System? by Food Policy Council supporter
Tuesday Nov 28th, 2006 7:27 PM
http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2006/11/28/18333916.php
HELP CREATE AN OAKLAND FOOD POLICY COUNCIL
  * Attend and speak in support of the Food Policy Council at the Life
Enrichment Committee City Council meeting on DECEMBER 12th, 2006, 6pm.
The Food Policy Council bill needs to pass this committee before it can
go to a full City Council vote. Oakland City Hall, 1 Frank H. Ogawa
Plaza, (Between 14th and 15th Streets) Oakland. (near 12th Street BART
  station)

This December 12th and 19th, we can help Oakland become a model green
city by supporting the passage of city-legislation to create a Food
  Policy Council.

  * Take Action - Tell your Oakland City Council Member that you are in
favor of the creation of a Food Policy Council.
City Council Member contact details are here:
  http://www.oaklandnet.com/government/council/city-officials.html
WHAT'S A FOOD POLICY COUNCIL?
If created, the Food Policy Council will consist of a group of
yet-to-be-appointed people that will advocate for and recommend
policies to the City in order to create a healthy and sustainable food
system. Specific goals of the Food Policy Council will be to increase
the amount of locally grown food available in Oakland, reduce hunger
and food insecurity, and promote economic opportunities within the food
sector. Email me at jessicabell [at] riseup.net if you want a copy of the
legislation (the document is too big to email)

The need for a Food Policy Council originated from recommendations
outlined in a 2005 study of Oakland's food system by the Department of
City and Regional Planning at the University of California, Berkeley,
and the Oakland Mayor Jerry Brown's Office of Sustainability.

Read the study: http://oaklandfoodsystem.pbwiki.com/

WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?
According to the study, approximately 29% of residents in Alameda County
are impacted by hunger or food insecurity, our food travels 1,500
global-warming inducing carbon-laden miles to reach our plate, and
small farming operations are going bankrupt because they're being
priced out by agribusiness.

WHAT'S THE SOLUTION?
Food Policy Councils in other cities have achieved remarkable success at
helping to create a food system that benefits people. For instance in
2001, the Berkeley Food Policy Council helped Berkeley City Council
pass a food policy requiring school cafeterias to serve fresh, local
and organic foods to its 9,500 students, with a commitment "to increase
the amount of products purchased from local farms". We can do that
here in Oakland.

WHAT CAN I DO?
Of course, like everything, the success of Oakland's Food Policy Council
is dependent upon citizen involvement so PLEASE GET INVOLVED....

1) FORWARD THIS INFORMATION TO SUPPORTERS

2) FIND OUT MORE, GET INVOLVED

if they support the bill!

* Attend and speak in support of the Food Policy Council at the Life

Where:The Arete Center for Excellence in SF
Is there something stopping you from reaching your full potential?
Something elusive you can’t quite identify? Do you experience
something in the way of you having the kind of life you want and
deserve? Does fear, anger, sadness, shame, guilt or for some, even
grief, weigh you down unnecessarily? Do you often take things
personally? Do you find yourself acting in reaction against, or in
continuation of the patterns your parents demonstrated?

You would like to be free from significantly negative emotional
events from your past? Truly free—to such a degree you are even
grateful for them? Would you like to have a greater understanding of
the power of your mind and the minds of those around you?

Have you attended personal development events and found them useful,
but ultimately unfulfilling? Have you experienced “transformation”,
but found it ultimately unpredictable or unsustainable without a
rigorous community?

Would you be interested in freeing up so much of your essence that
you were able live your life’s purpose—and prosper from it?

If you answered yes to any of that, join me for this free event.

Becoming Whole Again: A Talk With Richard Tarnas

The Role of Body, Soul, & Cosmos in the Journey of Psychospiritual
Transformation

Most contemporary psychotherapies, from managed care psychiatric drug-
prescribing to pastoral counseling, leave out either the soul or the
body, focusing on one to the exclusion of the other. Unless the
ensouled body and embodied soul are fully engaged in the therapeutic
process, fundamental healing cannot take place. Moreover, given the
disenchanted world view of the modern mind, the quest for
psychological wholeness is continually frustrated by the larger
context of a soulless and purposeless cosmos that is indifferent to
human aspirations. Nor can the individual find personal healing if it
is divorced from the healing needs of the larger Earth community.

Join us Thursday, December 14th, when Full Spectrum Progressive
Psychology presents a FREE informative discussion with Richard Tarnas
as he discusses the historical context of these deep divisions in the
modern condition, and explores the dramatic movement towards
integration that is now emerging through holistic, transpersonal,
ecological, and other integral impulses at work in the
psychotherapeutic community.

Womens Yule Gathering on Friday, December 15 @ 7pm in SF

Welcome beautiful goddesses!
On Friday night, December 15, you are invited to a beautiful home in
San Francisco to celebrate Yule, the welcoming of the sun's rebirth.
This night, we celebrate Winter Solstice, the longest night of the
year. Tonight, the breath of nature is suspended: all waits while
darkness is transformed into the infant light. We watch for the coming
of dawn, when the Great Mother gives birth to the Child Sun, who is the
bringer of hope and the promise of summer. After tonight, the sun
climbs just a little higher and stays longer in the sky each day. Much
celebration is to be had as the ancestors await the rebirth of the Sun
Child that warms the frozen Earth and made her birth seeds from her
womb.

Please arrive to the gathering at 7pm with a prepared meal for the
potluck(salad and dessert will be taken care of), a towel for the hot
tub, your own plate, cup, and eating utensils, and red, green and white
attire for the holiday season. Also we ask that you bring an article of
clothing wrapped for the gift exchange. And of course, your amazing,
tranformative self. Call Sherry at 510-410-8876 to RSVP and for
directions. We are awake in the night. We turn the wheel to bring in
the light. We call from the sun the womb of night. Blessed Be!

Love and light, Sherry and Molly huggima @ yahoo.com

Gratitude Nights! Dec. 16th! Saturday, December 16, 8:00 PM

…is the possibility of empowered community in action. Once a month, we come together to create a loving celebration of life, and to transform what we refer to as "socializing." These drug and alcohol-free parties exist as amazing opportunities to express ourselves, to share ourselves, and to know ourselves. We generate the party from within, and at the same time we generate generous funds for the causes we, as a community, are a stand for. Holding our authentic connection as sacred, we honor our unity in ceremony and dance. By choosing to celebrate for change, we come to know the path to be the goal…

Universal Peace and Universal Party!
Come be a part of the celebration for change!
This will be a fundraiser for Other Paths, sponsoring three inner-city
youths from Richmond in their journey to Africa, where they will build a
water-filtration system for an impoverished village in Kenya.

The night will include live music, dancing, visual art, face-paiting,
raffle, sacred ceremony, vegan organic food, on-site healing practitioners
... love and community!

This is a drug and alcohol-free event.

8th St @ Brannnan St. San Francisco, CA Ages 18+ Early Bird Tickets On Sale October 5, 2006

After a hugely successful inaugural event last year, SCI is happy to collaborate with Madison House, Anon Salon, and Peak Experience Productions, for the Seventh Annual Sea of Dreams New Year’s Eve event.

Like last year, cultural forces will unite for two freaky nights at the San Francisco’s Concourse Exhibition Center for the biggest New Years weekend gathering on the west coast. Expect three stages hosting an incredible roster of live bands, cabaret and circus acts, DJ's and dance collectives, performance troupes, and more. All set within multiple thematic environments, Sea of Dreams promises something for people of every tribe.

Musical acts performing on the three stages include the The String Cheese Incident (playing two full sets each night), British nu-school breaks producer Tipper, revolutionary underground artist Bassnectar, modern day traveling minstrel DJ Mark Farina, the down-tempo trip-hop dance music of Lotus, live electronic hipsters Pnuma Trio and plenty of others still to be announced.

Ambrose Bierce, Eleanor Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman

"Diplomacy: The patriotic art of lying for one's country."
-- Ambrose Bierce
(1842-1914) Humorist
http://quotes.liberty-tree.ca/quote_blog/Ambrose.Bierce.Quote.7283

"Smearing good people like Lauchlin Currie [former administrative assistant to President Roosevelt], Alger Hiss and others is, I think, unforgiveable... Anyone knowing Mr. Currie or Mr. Hiss, who are the two people whom I happen to know fairly well, would not need any denial on their part to know they are not Communists. Their records prove it."
-- Eleanor Roosevelt
[Anna Eleanor Roosevelt] (1884-1963) Wife of US President Franklin D. Roosevelt

"If you cannot convince them, confuse them."
-- Harry S. Truman
(1884-1972), 33rd US President
http://quotes.liberty-tree.ca/quote_blog/Harry.Truman.Quote.7221

"You make men love their government and their country by giving them the kind of government and the kind of country that inspire respect and love; a country that is free and unafraid, that lets the discontented talk in order to learn the causes of their discontent and end those causes, that refuses to impel men to spy on their neighbors, that protects its citizens vigorously from harmful acts while it leaves the remedies for objectionable ideas to counter-argument and time."
-- Zecharian Chafee, Jr.
(1865-1957)
Source: Free Speech in the United States, 1942
http://quotes.liberty-tree.ca/quote_blog/Zecharian.Chafee,.Quote.38B7

"Unless a man has talents to make something of himself, freedom is an irksome burden.
Of what avail is freedom to choose if the self be ineffectual?
We join a mass movement to escape individual responsibility, or,
in the words of the ardent young Nazi, 'to be free from freedom.'"
-- Eric Hoffer
(1902-1983) American author, philosopher, awarded Presidential Medal of Freedom
